Who we are

The popular scientific journal A priori (www.casopisapriori.com) is a scientific journal of the Sofia Philosophical Association from Banja Luka.

A priori publishes unpublished scientific research achievements as original and comprehensive scientific and professional works in the field of social and humanistic sciences, as well as works in the field of literature. In addition to the categorized articles, the magazine also includes:

• interviews,
• translations,
• essays,
• views,
• poetry,
• prose,
• students,
• comments,
• reports.

A priori enables authors to publish their scientific research after the usual procedure in the editorial board and quality reviews.

The magazine is published "publish as you go" in online format. A priori, it has become an internationally recognized journal, whose works are indexed in recognized international databases such as: ROAD, DOAJ, ERIH PLUS, Google Scholar, etc.

The goal in the coming period is for the journal to be as visible and recognizable as possible in other internationally recognized bases in the world, and to follow the latest developments in the world of publishing.

In this regard, since 2023, the scientific-popular journal A priori follows the practice of contemporary scientific magazines, which is in-press publishing. Namely, in press or in print means the publication of papers reviewed and accepted for publication by reviewers and the editorial board of the journal, in the order in which the papers are approved, up to the final version of the journal.

After the final processing of all texts to be published in the current issue, the journal is closed and call for papers is opened for the submission of papers in the next issue of the journal.

The editorial board of A priori magazine consists of well-known and renowned names in the field of social humanities and literature from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Croatia and the world, with established international credibility.

We invite and encourage scientists, writers, but also young researchers to send their works for the journal A priori.
